Cookies Policy

Last updated: June 2025
Platform DisclaimerVizado is a software platform only. Vizado does not provide immigration advice, legal advice, visa guidance, travel services, or any regulated professional service. All advice and professional services are provided exclusively by the registered Agency. Agencies are solely responsible for their professional conduct, regulatory compliance, and all client outcomes.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Vizado uses a minimal set of cookies required for the Platform to function correctly. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary Cookies

  • Session token (vizado_token) — stores your authenticated session JWT in localStorage; required to access any workspace screen
  • Subdomain marker (vizado_subdomain) — identifies which agency workspace an authenticated agency user belongs to
  • CSRF tokens — short-lived tokens included in state-changing requests to prevent cross-site request forgery attacks

These cookies cannot be disabled without breaking Platform functionality. They do not track you across sites and contain no personal information beyond what is necessary to authenticate your session.

Functional Cookies

  • Locale preference — remembers your display language if you have switched from the default
  • UI state — stores minor UI preferences (e.g., collapsed sidebar state) to improve usability across sessions

Analytics (Aggregate Only)

Vizado may collect aggregated, anonymised page-view and feature-interaction metrics to improve the Platform. These metrics do not include personal information and cannot be used to identify individual users. No third-party analytics scripts (e.g., Google Analytics) are loaded on authenticated workspace pages.

3. What We Do Not Use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Third-party social media tracking pixels
  • Cross-site behavioural profiling cookies
  • Any cookies that track client applicants or their data

4. Managing Cookies

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in. Most modern browsers allow you to manage cookie settings under Settings → Privacy & Security. Refer to your browser’s help documentation for specific instructions.

Clearing localStorage in your browser will log you out of the Platform. This is a safe action that does not delete any case or client data stored on our servers.

5. Changes

If we begin using any new type of cookie, we will update this policy and notify registered agencies in advance. We will not introduce advertising cookies without explicit opt-in consent.
